Artisanal Charm: Spotlight on the Celia Collection

Shopping for flatware isn’t always easy. When most people set out to find the best home flatware, they overlook just how much is involved in finding that perfect set. Besides liking the style, there is much more to consider, such as the weight and how it feels in your hand, the materials used, and the care needed to keep your flatware sets looking their best for years to come.

Choosing a style has become more complicated than it once was with many home decorators looking for something that will bring out the best of their dining room and tabletop décor. And while there are more silverware styles than ever, let’s face it- a lot of flatware looks very similar.

At INOX Artisans, we often say our selection of artisanal flatware steps away from the ordinary. Customers soon discover that having an artisan-crafted flatware set is like having a dining table filled with unique artwork pieces. Each flatware style is one-of-a-kind and each piece is handcrafted using traditional methods, passed down from generation to generation.

Here we look at the Celia flatware collection. This versatile style eases from casual weekday dinners at home to special dinner parties with friends and family. What’s more, it's available in three different finishes to complement any dinnerware and tabletop decor. Keep reading as we highlight the unique Celia flatware pattern and explore why it's a customer favorite.

Celia - A distinctive artisanal flatware design

When it comes to flatware, the utensils are all usually the same. A fork will have 3 or 4 tines and a spoon has a bowl. What sets a flatware style apart from the rest, is a distinctive handle. And we can’t think of a more distinctive, artistic, and eye-pleasing handle than our Celia flatware.

Celia flatware features round faceted handles that widen into flattened ends. The flattened ends are slightly rounded.

Stainless steel flatware

At INOX Artisans, our skilled metal workers use 18/8 stainless steel, a combination of 18% chromium, and 8% nickel. This alloy is soft enough for forging and hammering and has enough nickel to keep the steel resistant to corrosion. Utensils are hand-polished to a mirror-reflective shine and the handles are hand-finished using an electroplating process comparable to the method used in jewelry making.

Is stainless steel flatware sustainable? Yes! Because of its corrosion resistance, low maintenance care requirements, and 100% recyclability, our handcrafted flatware is sustainable. Stainless steel flatware is also affordable and lasts many years. With the desire for sustainable pieces in our homes, handcrafted flatware like our Celia design is the ultimate accessory in your kitchen and dining room.

All of our flatware utensils are hand-polished to a mirror finish – you can see yourself in our spoons! The handles come in different finishes including vintage gold, antique copper, and burnt black.

Let’s look at the different handle finishes available in the Celia artisanal flatware collection.

Antique Copper: Copper is a beautiful hue that gives your table a natural, down-to-earth feeling. Those who love to have candlelight at dinner will love the way the faceted copper handles catch the light, adding a warm glow to the occasion. Celia artisanal flatware in copper is a customer favorite.

Vintage gold: The gold finish of this Celia flatware is rich and earthy. Notice how beautiful it looks with white dinnerware and how it complements other earthy hues. Celia in vintage gold has an aged look that lends subtle sophistication to contemporary and vintage place settings.

Burnt Black: A recent addition to the Celia artisanal flatware collection, blackened handles add a touch of drama and sophistication to your dinner table settings. You’ll love how Celia in black adds panache to your everyday dining and elevates those special occasions.

Artisanal flatware tells a distinctive story and brings a unique sophistication to your table. The Celia flatware collection includes serving pieces and specialty flatware additions to create warm and inviting table settings that will leave a lasting impression.
